New Swedish label Nikben combines the legacy of vintage swim shorts with playful patterns to breathe life into men’s beachwear collection. All Nikben styles feature a tailored silhouette reminiscent of the pastel-coloured beach life on the Mediterranean in the 50’s, updated with a number of playful prints and patterns such as flamingos, camouflage, eggs or a sushi pattern made as a tribute to the Japanese sushi master Jiro Ono.
The sophisticated shapes combined with fun and quirky patterns create an exciting contrast for men who want to make a statement by the pool and soak up the sun in style. Nikben swim trunks can be found at Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason.
Tired of only seeing plain bamboo collections on the market, Moch Socks have launched a line of super soft bamboo socks in 18 original styles. Designed in the UK and made from bamboo sourced in China, the collection is available in two sizes and combines the durability of cotton with the softness and anti-bacterial properties of bamboo.
“We started looking at how we could make super soft socks a reality and, after a lot of playing around with different fabrics and blends and two trips to China to meet bamboo fabric producers, we came up with a bamboo and cotton mix. Throw in a bunch of different colours and patterns, and Moch Socks became a thing,” says Maddy Cross, founder of Moch Socks.
To celebrate the launch, Moch Socks are offering 50% off with the code ‘MOCH50’.

Luxury British menswear label Drake & Hutch are offering a paid modelling contract to appear in their SS16 photo shoot. “The people we work with have incredible passion and character which becomes a part of the clothing itself. I wanted a model who will continue this and add their own character to the brand,” said founder Pete McGuinness.
“I’ve no doubt a professional would have done a great job, but by asking people to submit photos through social media it lets us see the individuals personality helping us select on more than just looks. Of equal importance we can give someone an opportunity they would not normally get,” he adds. To take part men need to post their photo on Twitter/Instagram with the tag #myDHstyle or email a photo to firstname.lastname@example.org before Friday 8th April 2016.
