New brand Miradonna by Miraclesuit to launch this Summer

Calzedonia: Jeans with Emana® and Brazilian inspired swimwear


The latest Calzedonia products manufactured in partnership with Emana®, the smart yarn developed by the Solvay Group, look like standard jeans but offer consumers much more than that. The pairs of skinny and flare jeans contain the innovative polyamide yarn with incorporated bioactive minerals which facilitate heat exchange, boosting skin microcirculation and improving skin’s appearance.

The clinical tests conducted by independent laboratories guarantee the effectiveness of the yarn, highlighting the improvement in blood microcirculation, reduction of skin imperfections, increased skin elasticity and firmness. To see results customers just need to wear the Calzedonia jeans with Emana® six hours a day for four weeks.

In other news, Calzedonia have presented their Summer 2016 swimwear collection in Verona earlier this April. Taking inspiration from Brazil ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games, the show included multisensory experiences and exotic rhythms reflective of Rio de Janeiro’s energy.

A whole section of the show was dedicated to Calzedonia’s new swimwear sport line, a collection that combines technical performance with Italian style, and a retro inspired crochet collection was also presented during the show.

Wolford: Embrace the Artist Inside


Legwear specialists Wolford have unveiled a new campaign to support the best-selling Shape & Control collection, which offers 16 different styles and 80 individual products to contour the entire body. The ‘Embrace the Artist Inside’ video sees a dancer demonstrate the collection’s elegance, freedom of movement and comfort in a stylish and modern way.

The video available on is accompanied by the Shape & Control Configurator, which helps customers find their perfect pair of tights. After choosing the desired shaping zone (stomach, hips and bottom or legs), strength, denier and colour, the perfect Shape & Control match is presented.

Cotton Contour: Innovative sculpting bodywear from Wolford

Available in stores from February 2016, the new Cotton Contour range from Wolford gently sculpts the figure while offering unbeatable comfort. The secret behind the pieces is the highly innovative material developed and produced exclusively for the Austrian brand, which combines premium Supima cotton with elastane. Despite its fineness and softness, this extremely stretchy material has a perfect sculpting effect which combined with the Wolford tailoring results in unique models.

Wolford offers two opaque legwear models (the Cotton Contour Forming Capri and Leggings), the Cotton Contour Forming Body, Top, Shirt and Dress (pictured above), which creates the perfect silhouette by shaping the waist, stomach, hips, buttocks and thighs. Whether worn for a yoga workout, as a minimalist piece under a blazer or as part of a casual outfit, the variety or styles in the range means there’s something available for everyone.

Items in the Cotton Contour range feature a special silicone layer on the hems, ensuring they lie flat against the skin – this also makes it possible to cut flat edges, avoiding bulky seams that would show under tight clothing. Willy Hermann first to adopt LYCRA® BEAUTY Cooling Technology


The first commercial collection using the new LYCRA® BEAUTY COOLING technology was developed by Austrian manufacturers Willy Hermann, Eurovet’s Designer of the Year 2016, and will be presented at Interfilière Paris in January. Launched last September, the COOLING technology by LYCRA® BEAUTY brand was designed in response to consumer needs for increased sophistication and shapewear comfort, after consumer research conducted by INVISTA indicated 69% of female consumers find moisture management in shapewear to be extremely or very important, with only 42% satisfied.

Interfilière New York debuted Creative Lab, a new format in partnership with Concepts Paris and the LYCRA® Brand earlier this week at the Altman Building in Manhattan, New York. INVISTA presented their COOLING technology by LYCRA® BEAUTY brand which was  followed by a Summer ’17 trend presentation by founder and CEO of Concepts Paris, Jos Berry.
