In 2015 Panache launched their first digital campaign, Modelled by Role Models, in celebration of inspirational women who carve their own path and drive the course of history. Following the successful campaign which featured model Marquita Pring, Sports Therapist Amy Hughes, British T34 Paralympic wheelchair champion Hannah Cockcroft, Senior Nurse Rachel Elliott, British singer Mica Paris and blood and organ donation campaigner Martyna Kaczmarek, Panache now invites customers to nominate who they consider to be their role model.
For this next chapter of ‘Modelled by Role Models’, Panache will carefully consider nominations from all over the world whether they commend an ordinary woman who does extraordinary things, a celebrity or a local heroine. The nominations process will launch on International Women’s Day, March 8th 2016, via the online portal www.modelledbyrolemodels.com/nominations and the closing date is April 3rd.
Panache will release a shortlist of 15 finalists and the public will then join a Panache judging panel to choose the final 6 role models. Winners will be in the next Modelled By Role Models photo shoot which will feature on the Panache website, online and offline press, social media channels and on POS in stockists.
“Who inspires you? Who makes your world a better place? Who makes you want to be the best version of you possible? Helping you feel comfortable in your own skin has always been a huge motivation behind the Panache brand, but today’s mainstream role models are typically admired for their physical attributes rather than their personal achievements. In an industry so focused on image, Panache felt compelled to help shift this perception by asking the question – ‘What if we championed the next generation of role models?'”
