Stars 2014 Winners
As well as the 12 annual Awards, a new Award was created last night – The Special Care Recognition Award, aimed at acknowledging the contribution these specialist stores make in the marketplace and won by Nicola Jane.
Organised by Underlines Magazine and held on 20th November at the Cumberland Hotel in London, the Stars Underlines Best Shop Awards are the only independent recognition of excellence in intimate apparel, swimwear and legwear retailing in the UK. The awards were created to recognise and reward entrepreneurial skill, innovation and experience in these specialised sectors.
This year, there were 88 finalists nominated across 12 categories, put forward by a judging panel made up of 27 brands representing a cross section of the lingerie, swimwear and hosiery industries. There could be only one winner for the Supplier of the Year Award and the stores that voted felt that this year it belonged to Wacoal Eveden, the parent company of well known lingerie brands Fantasie, Freya, Elomi, Wacoal, Huit and b.tempt’d.
Ann-Marie Manley, Head of Marketing for Wacoal Eveden said: “This year has been such a significant year for the Wacoal Eveden business and we’re absolutely delighted to have been awarded Supplier of the Year at the Stars Underlines Awards. The awards are of upmost importance to us as they are voted for by our customers. Customer service is the heart of our business and to be recognised for all the hard work is very gratifying. On behalf of everyone at Wacoal Eveden, we’d like to thank everyone for voting for us, and look forward to continue working with you all in 2015.”
