Blue Marmalade joins The Lingerie Edit

Launched only one year ago, Blue Marmalade London offers luxury loungewear and nightwear manufactured in beautiful Italian silks, delicate viscose blends, modals and cotton silks. The Lingerie Edit has also released an initial list of brands set to participate in the July trade show. Nui Ami returns to The Lingerie Edit

Nui Ami is going to return to The Lingerie Edit this July, showcasing a brand new range of sleepwear in addition to their luxurious cup-sized loungewear. ‘Paris Montmartre’ is comprised of chemises, robes and sleep bralettes in a chic palate of blush silk satin with accents of caramel French Leavers lace, available in cup sizes A-F. The brand’s signature collections London, Venice and LA will also be at the show and are available in up to ten cup sizes.

The Lingerie Edit is an exclusive trade showroom event which gathers around 30 premium intimates and swimwear brands in the heart of London. The show will be returning to the Savoy Hotel on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th July 2016, at the Abraham Lincoln & Manhattan rooms.

Premium intimate trade showroom event The Lingerie Edit is returning to the Savoy Hotel on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th July 2016, showcasing the best SS17 collections from luxury swimwear, lingerie and loungewear brands. Exhibitors confirmed for July include Asceno, Bluebella, Fleur Of England, Kriss Soonik, Little White Lies Swim, Loveday London, Minkpink Somedays Lovin, Nautica, Oakley Swim, Only Hearts and Splendid Lounge & Swim, with more to be revealed soon.

Loveday London picks up Best Brand Award at The Lingerie Edit


January 2016 saw The Lingerie Edit celebrate another successful season, showing the best of AW16 lingerie, lounge and swimwear collections at The Savoy Hotel in London. Buyers from both the UK and international stores visited the show, including Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, Fenwick, Dolci Follie and Coco de Mer.

As usual, visiting buyers and press were asked to vote for their favourite brand and for the third time Loveday London claimed the ‘Best Brand’ title. A regular exhibitor at TLE, Louisa Loveday said: “The Lingerie Edit is a must for any new or established brand if they want to build long-lasting relationships with key accounts. The intimate environment allows us to take our time when talking through the collections with buyers. Loveday London relies on the show for its accessibly and feels right at home within the luxury of the stunning Savoy Hotel.”

New brands exhibiting in the Atelier were given the opportunity to claim the APM Atelier Award, picked up by London-based luxury lingerie brand Fréolic, which will receive 6 months of top level training as a way of ‘fast tracking’ them into intimates trade success.

The Lingerie Edit organizers David Finlayson and Tamar Kendall were thrilled with the outcome and the long list of brands interested in exhibiting in July. Longstaff Longstaff to debut in January at The Lingerie Edit

New British  brand Longstaff Longstaff specialises in luxury nightwear perfect for relaxing, reclining and lounging around in the house. These ravishing robes and posh pyjamas feature textile designer Sophie Barnard’s hand painted designs and can be worn as separates, mixed and matched with other prints or plain pieces in a combination that works for customers.

The label’s first collection is comprised of camisoles, chemises, long and short pyjamas, wrap-around robes and tunics in silk. Inspired by Nottingham lace, Chinese embroidery and Art Deco windows, this season’s prints feature butterflies, flowers, paisleys and geometrics in rich blues and purples, crisp yellows, pinks and subtle greys.

Longstaff Longstaff will be showing its first collection at The Lingerie Edit on 11-12th January 2016 at the luxurious Savoy Hotel in London.

Show preview – The Lingerie Edit SS16

The Spring/Summer 2016 edition of The Lingerie Edit is set to be the best one yet with established brands Chantal Thomass, Mimi Holliday, Michael Kors and Maison Lejaby setting the tone. Exciting new names have also joined the line-up and latest additions include Three Graces London, Nui Ami, Maven and Rebecca Torres, introduced below.

London based nightwear brand Nui Ami will showcase its first collection at The Lingerie Edit. Inspired by London, Paris and Venice, the brand has a tailored approach to nightwear and offers chemises, camisoles and sleep bralettes in nine cup sizes. Also new to The Lingerie Edit is Martha Rose, a lingerie and nightwear brand that will showcase its second collection. Made in Britain, Martha Rose offers pared back underwear with vintage detailing in a modern approach.

Sonata Rapalyte is known for fusing technically unique designs with luxurious silk chiffons, satins and laces to create garments that contour and deify the female form. For SS16 soft colours of coral, lilac and mint green were used in lavish pieces destined to adorn the bodies of those who want to be subtly reminded that they are deserving of only the very best.

Introducing its SS16 collection, New York premium loungewear brand Maison de Papillon will attend the show for the first time. Designed to seamlessly transition from travel and loungewear to ready-to-wear, the new collection consists of kaftans, flirty dresses, cover-ups, stylish jumpsuits as well as multifunctional pants and shorts.

Characterised by cool elegance and smart sophistication, MICHAEL Michael Kors is a leader in designer swimwear. Bold Ikat prints, Mediterranean porcelain patterns and bright hues accompany sleek silhouettes this SS16 for an ultimately luxurious look, with a complete line of cover-ups to match. Established ready-to-wear designer, Rebecca Torres will be launching her début swimwear collection at The Lingerie Edit this July. Specialising in the use of luxurious sports-led fabrics, Rebecca is renowned for her ability to accentuate the female form through garments with enhanced fit, stretch and comfort.
