Wacoal has unveiled a stunning window display in Selfridges Oxford Street in celebration of the department store’s new Body Studio. Featuring some of Wacoal’s best-selling lingerie collections such as Embrace Lace and Vision in a subtly styled and synchronised setting, the display will run until 8th June 2016.

Wacoal Europe kicks off Spring/Summer 2017 with Sassy, a new range from Freya with a nod to retro styling, on-trend beige and cream colour and a gorgeous lace overlay. The bustier features padded moulded cups for great shape, soft boning throughout for comfortable support and is accompanied by a choice of brief, short and Brazilian. Available in sizes 32-38C, 28D-38G, 30-36GG.
Elomi offers a touch of luxury with Opal (34-46 D-H), an underwired half cup bra with stunning multi-coloured floral embroidery, vertical seams for added uplift and shape and a matching brief. Chrystalle is the latest range from Wacoal, a beautiful collection of bras, briefs and lounging pieces in a couture inspired botanical tulip print designed in Italy and exclusive to Wacoal. The padded push up bra features a three section foam cup to give a natural shape, whilst removable cookies give a push up and inwards for accentuated cleavage. Available in sizes 32-36A and 30B-38D.
Last but not least Wacoal Europe presents Angelina, a captivating and romantic collection with a premium edge from Fantasie. Exclusive to the brand, the Swiss designed floral embroidery rests on a warm café au lait base and is adorned with three tone bows and a diamante trim. The underwired vertical seam bra (available in sizes 32-38C, 30D-38FF and 30-36G) creates fabulous cleavage without padding and is joined by the underwired side support bra, a choice of brief or deep thong and an elegant chemise.
The long-awaited opening of the Body Studio at Selfridges will welcome the Wacoal and Fantasie brands as part of their line-up in the massive 37,000 sq ft Body Studio which will pay host to around 100 brands.

The Body Studio represents Selfridge’s biggest ever new development in terms of floor space and will feature women’s lingerie as well as lounge, sleepwear, swim, hosiery and sports.
The Body Studio aims to provide customers with an environment in which they can celebrate confidence, bodies and wellbeing. Featured within the new area will be a lingerie fit studio – to provide customers with a professional lingerie fit experience.

Hans Hornemann, General Manager of Wacoal EMEA, opened an exciting evening at The Tobacco Theatre in the heart of Amsterdam last night, to an audience of buyers, retailers, VIPs and press. All of the SS2016 swimwear and underwear ranges from Elomi, Fantasie, Freya, Huit, Wacoal and b.tempt’d were on the catwalk accompanied by an extravaganza with acrobats, musicians and vocalists including the winner of The Voice, Netherlands.
After its last stop in Printemps Haussmann on May 22nd, the Wacoal Underwear Tour hits the beach at Mode City’s Absolute Summer space. Visitors will have the chance to pose for the illustrator Eudoxie for a Live Drawing session, enjoy fitting, designs and a free gift of Wacoal sunglasses.
Against a backdrop worthy of West Coast Palaces inspired by ‘How to marry a Millionaire’, you can slip into Marilyn’s shoes for a session that’s oh so Poopoopidoo! Wide brimmed hats, sunglasses, fifties hairstyles… all the accessories you need to be instantly transformed into Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall or Betty Grable. To complete the party, a prize draw will take place twice a day at 3pm and 5pm, with the lucky winners going home with a Wacoal Summer Bag filled with gifts such as a Wacoal nightie, a Freya Panama hat and a Huit swimsuit.
Leading lingerie group Wacoal has announced it is introducing a new luxurious lingerie line to add to the market leading Wacoal America range. Launching internationally from July, the new line designed in Europe will offer the same fabulous fit, quality and comfort synonymous with the Wacoal brand, but offering a more premium and fashion look with different shapes, fabrication and European flair.
The collection will range from high quality and stylish everyday lingerie solutions to indulgent, yet accessible up to the minute fashion pieces. A global launch event will be held for the new Wacoal brand in central Paris in July, just preceding Mode City, to showcase the entire Wacoal line exclusively for the first time with a further announcement also due to be made at the occasion.

Amid cocktails and cupcakes Wacoal Eveden, the UK’s largest lingerie design and manufacturer whose portfolio of brands includes Freya, Fantasie, Huit, Elomi and Goddess presented the 2014 ModelKind calendar, the result of their partnership with special model charity which aims to raise awareness about cervical cancer.
Featuring some of the lingerie industry’s most recognised models which also includes the ModelKind founders Hannah Shetler, Iskra Lawrence and Charlotte Quita Jones, the calendar showcases a number of Wacoal Eveden’s collections from Freya, Fantasie, Fauve, Elomi and Huit, worn by the models that range from cup sizes A to G. Moreover, unlike many calendars all shots are completely un-retouched and un-manipulated, in a bid to promote positive body image.
The calendar is dedicated to a close friend of the organiser’s who lost their battle to cervical cancer at the age of 29 years – so ModelKind hopes to remind women that cervical cancer can affect any woman at any age, and is one of the most common cancers in women under 35 years. The calendar will also aim to encourage more women to go and get checked early enough and more regularly. Money raised from the calendar will go towards cervical cancer research through Cancer Research UK.
