Agent Provocateur Swim unveils striking monochromes for SS16

Agent Provocateur are launching a brand new swimwear collection this May comprised of sport-inspired monochrome swimsuits and bikinis in shades of black and white. As part of the Spring/Summer 2016 collection, the brand has also unveiled a striking new version of the classic Dakotta swimsuit in a red colourway available exclusively from Harrods until 7th June 2016.

The iconic Dakotta swimsuit with laser slashed detail and high cut leg is favoured by celebrities including Kendall Jenner – the style will be available online and in Agent Provocateur boutiques from 8th June.

Agent Provocateur announced today the appointment of Fabrizio Malverdi as its new Chief Executive with immediate effect. Fabrizio has over 15 years’ experience leading luxury retail businesses including Dior Homme, John Galliano and Givenchy. Chris Woodhouse, Chairman of Agent Provocateur, commented: “Renowned for his focus on creative product, growth and value creation, Fabrizio is a hugely respected professional. Agent Provocateur‘s demi-couture line Soiree takes a peek behind the curtains this season. Inspired by dressing room glamour, Soiree looks to the leading lady after the show: elegant, fascinating and always captivating.

Intricate French lace, hand beaded satin, luxurious details and crystal embellished pieces can be found throughout the collection designed to flatter and fascinate. Highlights from the SS16 Soiree collection include the seductive Daeshiah dress, which combines navy silk crepe with French leavers lace, and the Eviee set (pictured above), with French hand corded black lace and twisted cords surrounded by flower motifs.

L’Agent Spring 2016 in the limelight

For Spring/Summer 2016 L’Agent by Agent Provocateur looks to the stage and showgirls of the past to deliver a collection designed for showing off. Bold colours including amethyst, ruby, cobalt and lapis lazuli light up the collection, contrasting with more seductive looks in black and rich embroideries for true starlet appeal.

The popular ‘Odessa’ with its matte cirée leopard-print embroidery was re-imagined in cobalt and wild ruby red (pictured above), the ‘Adriana’ steals the show with its barely-there tulle adorned by neon floral embroidery, whilst the ‘Mariona’ returns enriched with a pop of cherry red. Inspired by the Belle Epoque, ‘Gia’ is a piece of black magic in fishnet lace and the hyper-feminine ‘Kaity’ features 3D flowers in the palest blush for a truly romantic feel.

The luxurious angel-pink ‘Grace’ set is made of eyelash lace and glistens with rose gold sparkle, whilst a new focus on nightwear brings the playful ‘Jada’ teddy suit, cut from stretch chiffon in classic black or burning amethyst. This season L’Agent also lent a special focus to the derrière, using fine details such as ruching, cheeky cut-outs and double strapping on knickers throughout the collection to highlight and flatter all curves.

L’agent opens London pop up in Westfield

L’Agent is delighted to announce the opening of their pop up store within Westfield London, which will run for six months. The shop is situated in The Village and reflects the brand’s youthful, tongue in cheek style, featuring pink walls with pink leopard print, bright vinyl accents, white displays and a pink leopard print rug, complimented by gold lamé curtains and polished brass fittings in the fitting rooms.

Launched in August 2013 as a wholesale lingerie line, L’Agent has swiftly grown to be a key player in the lingerie market, with this pop up shop set to be the first of a line of new stores opening from 2016. L’Agent recently debuted their first ever full swimwear collection, which will be shown in the Westfield London pop-up alongside seasonal and classics collections.

The collaboration between L’Agent and Penelope and Monica Cruz was inspired by L.A. skater girls and delivers eye-popping swimwear in three themes:

Agent Provocateur unveils dazzling AW15 Soirée collection

Agent Provocateur took a leaf out of Cher’s book for its demi-couture AW15 range Soirée. A born star, Cher always dazzled in intricately-crafted scraps of fabulous nothingness and was the icon who inspired the season’s most resplendent pieces, designed to flatter and fascinate.

Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik stepped into the Agent Provocateur spotlight once more as the star of Soirée, frolicking her way around an empty theatre in sweeping lengths of couture lace and silk. Glistening under the stage lights and reclining decadently on the theatre’s red velvet seats, Mihalik perfectly embodies the Soirée showgirl.
